Many Voices Day — Grown Up Edition

The All Voices Family Alliance Presents…

A one-woman show, “One Drop of Love,” written and performed by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni, as part of a special program that AFS All Voices Family Alliance is hosting from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the school.

Perhaps you’ve seen the flyers or heard mention of it from your child, which has left you wondering … Just what is Many Voices Day?  Here are answers to some frequently asked questions.

What is Many Voices Day?
Every year, Middle and Upper School students have a special day planned by teachers and diversity leaders in the school that focuses on the aspects of the “Many Voices” that we have in our community. Students engage in activities that explore identity, attend various workshops about equity, inclusion, and multiculturalism, and have an all-school assembly and Meeting for Worship.

Some students have shared parts of this experience when they get home, so this year, the All Voices Family Alliance in conjunction with the Upper School Diversity Facilitators, have designed a day for the Grown Ups in the community to have a similar experience.

Who is the intended audience for Many Voices Day: Grownup Edition?
