After months of anticipation, the opening of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” was met with amazement by an audience of all ages. The lively musical was heartwarming and funny, and kept the audience laughing heartily throughout last weekend. The entire cast dazzled the crowd with their impressive acting, singing and dancing abilities.
This Week asked the audience for their reactions and Kindergarten student Chris, said “Snoopy is funny and a good dancer.” The concessions provided by the Home and School committee were also a hit, leaving an impression on second grader Alex who said her favorite part of the play was, “all of it and the candy at intermission.” Upper School parent and AFS Director of Parent Engagement Sloane Waldman said that the finale song “Happiness” brought, “tears of joy, even the second time seeing the performance.”
Bravo and thank you to all involved with this wonderful production! The community can’t wait to see what the spring brings to the Josephine Muller stage.
