It was announced that the 2019 Middle School production will be A Wrinkle in Time. The novel by Madeleine L’Engle, which has been adapted for both theatre and film, follows young characters Meg Murry, Charles Wallace Murry, and Calvin O’Keefe as they launch a journey through space and time, from universe to universe, on a mission to save the world. The work explores the struggle between light and dark, as the children mature into adolescents during their quest.
Auditions for A Wrinkle in Time were held the first week of December and the cast was announced by Middle School Theatre Teacher, Mary Carpenter on December 19.
There are opportunities to work on sets, costumes, props and backstage. If students are interested in being involved in the experience on the technical side, they can sign-up next week on sheets in the middle school hallway. Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8 when A Wrinkle in Time comes to the Josephine Muller stage.
