Biography

Mark Aala joined the Abington Friends School athletic staff in 2019 as a Middle School Girls Basketball Coach.

A California native, Mark coached in the Sacramento Kings Jr. NBA program, as well as Sixers Summer Camps. He also currently coaches in the Philadelphia Youth Basketball organization.

Mark previously spent 2 years coaching middle school football for the Cosumnes Oaks Jr. Wolfpack in Sacramento, California. He played football, basketball and track in high school and at Cosumnes River College.

Mark attended University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in communication and a minor in sport management.
