Michael McGlinn
Biography
Mike McGlinn is a Middle School Science teacher and advisor at Abington Friends. In 2017 he became one the school’s personal fitness coaches.
Previously, Mike coached rowing at La Salle High School (his alma mater) and Philadelphia University. In college and high school he successfully competed in rowing at the national level, constantly placing in the top 20 in the country.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Marist College.
Aside from rowing, Mike’s back-packed across the United States and Canada and is an avid skier & snowboarder who spent years surfing the Pacific Northwest.
