Upper School students who want to know more about the trips being offered by the Center for Experiential Learning are invited to attend a Global Travel Information Night at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 26. The Center is offering three trips this year: travel to Costa Rica during Spring Break; an outdoor education trip to Hurricane Island in Maine in June, and a three-week student-exchange program with the Hobart Friends School in Tasmania this summer.
Sophomores Amira Parker and Jonah Fine, who pioneered the Hobart exchange this past summer, and Lyn Johnston, an administrator at the Hobart school, will be attending next week’s event. Also on hand will be representatives from Chill Expeditions and the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership. The event will be held in Faulkner Reading Room.
