Girls interested in playing soccer, who are entering seventh through 12th grades, are invited to meet and train on campus with new AFS Varsity Girls’ Soccer Head Coach Jay Scheets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13. The meeting will be held rain or shine. It is planned for Smith Field, near the tennis courts, but will move to an Upper School classroom, if necessary. On Thursday, July 14, from 5:30-7:00 p.m., members of AFS’s Varsity Swim team will hold a captains’ summer training session at AFS’s outdoor pool. All students interested in swimming are invited to attend. Captains’ training sessions will be held every Thursday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. through the end of August.
