Enrollment Instructions for New and Returning Families

Please take the following steps to log in to your AFS Portal account for the first time:

  1. Navigate to the AFS Portal by clicking on or copying and pasting this url https://abingtonfriends.myschoolapp.com/app#login/request?y  into your browser. 
  2. The email address you provided the school at enrollment/reenrollment is your user name. 
  3. Enter your user name and check the box that says “password.” Press send.
  4. After you submit this request, an email containing temporary password information will be sent from abingtonfriends@myschoolapp.com. Please be sure to add this email address to your address book, so the message appears in your inbox and does not go to your junk mail.
  5. If you are unable to log in to the portal using the email address you provided the school, please contact 215.886.4350. 
  6. Once signed in, users should navigate to the top right corner where your name appears, click on “profile” and check the information on your contact card. Please check email address, home number, wireless number, and home address information for accuracy and enter any changes or corrections. Users will need to enter a wireless number in order to receive school delay, closing and emergency alerts via text.
  7. Changes to your security settings can be made by opening the drop-down menu where your name appears and clicking on settings, then privacy. There, you can specify which contact details are visible to various audiences. 
  8. Once you’ve created your password and logged in, you can use these instructions to add the AFS portal login page to your smart phone’s home page.

Please take the following steps to add a wireless number to your contact card if you have already created a password: 

  1. Log-in to the AFS Portal by clicking on or copying and pasting this url https://abingtonfriends.myschoolapp.com/app#login into your browser. 
  2. Once signed in, go to  the top right corner where your name appears, and click on “profile” in the drop-down menu.
  3. Go to the “Phone” box and click on the add phone button, select wireless as the phone type and enter your mobile number.  Users will need to enter a wireless number in order to receive school delay, closing and emergency alerts via text.
  4. Changes to your security settings can be made by opening the drop-down menu where your names appears and clicking on settings, then privacy. There, you can specify which contact details are visible to various audiences.
